Author visit: Petr Horacek

Petr Horacek grew up in Prague, where he trained at the Academy of Fine Arts before becoming a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter. Inspired by his two daughters, he has created numerous books for children, including Animal Opposites, Silly Suzy Goose, and Strawberries Are Red.

We had an amazing day with Petr. He spoke to the whole school about his creative process, gave advice and encouragement to some of our talented artists and produced an amazing mural with some of wonderful children! He made 2018's World Book day really special!
